VOLLEYBALL

RMMS will had a co-ed 7th and 8th grade volleyball team this year.  All eligible students who completed required paperwork could attend.  40 students (38 girls and 2 boys) played in any intramural format until the final team was announced.  That team of 12 (10 girls and 2 boys) were victorious in 2 matches against RCMS, where they played the best of 3 games. Go Bulldogs!

RMMS Sports Teams 2016-17

RMMS is proud to have several competitive sports teams in the 2016-17 school year to serve our student body of approximately 979 students (510 female and 469 male.)

Congratulations to our 2016-17 soccer teams for a winning season this year! Our boys' team ended with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, and our girls team was undefeated. It was a great effort by all of our student athletes!

 

7/8 Girls Soccer Team:  22 students

7/8 Boys Soccer Team:  18 students

 

5/6 Co-Ed Indoor Soccer League: 31 students (18 female, 13 male)

BASKETBALL

Ruth Musser Middle School hosted 6/7th grade and 8th grade basketball teams for both boys and girls.  The teams participated in the Highland Athletic League and served 23 boys and 26 girls in the 2017 season.

TRACK AND FIELD

Ruth Musser Middle School runs a competitive track and field program. The team is competes with 2 other schools in our Highland Athletic League. RMMS will host the elementary meet with Coyote Canyon and Dona Merced on Thursday, April 20th from 1-4 pm.   RMMS will participate in the Rotary Club track meet at Chaffey College on Saturday, April 22nd with 17 other schools! Our final meet of the season, our Tri. Meet with CMS and RCMS, will be hosted at Ruth Musser on Thursday, April 28th. 

 

The team is composed of 54 male students and 52 female students from grades 5-8.
